Social Trends Institute Reports: July 2017

This month, STI examines various initiatives for a more peaceful and ethical society. First, we summarize the recent ‘Visualizing Peace: Photography, Conflict Transformation and Peace building’ experts meeting, which brought together scholars and practitioners dedicated to using photography to promote peace. The second piece is an interview with David Thunder  about his newly published collection of essays that argue for harmony between ethics and political morality. And finally, we describe The First International Conference of Humanist Economics, which encouraged businesses to get ‘Back to Basics,’ and apply the golden rule within the corporate environment.
